Beatrice Morrow Cannady Elementary School is 65,000 SF and located on a steeply sloped field of Happy Valley. The site required over 20,000 CY of imported fill material in order to balance the design. All utilities were brought in from an offsite street improvement over a half mile away. The building consisted of a CMU gymnasium, brick veneer, and sheet metal. The project was under budget at the time of bid, allowing the school district to add additional scope items including upgraded interior finishes and amenities.
