Portland Rock Gym

Project Overview

An addition and remodel transforming an existing building into a dynamic new facility designed to inspire adventure and movement. The project featured a striking 11,200 SF addition—a 60-foot-tall pre-engineered metal building clad in sleek metal panels and modern storefront glazing, purpose-built to house world-class climbing walls.

Inside the existing structure, we completed a full interior renovation to support the gym’s growing community, including a welcoming reception area, new office space, restrooms, locker rooms, and a versatile exercise zone.

Exterior improvements further elevated the site with a refreshed main entry, a new covered walkway, upgraded landscaping and hardscaping, and the installation of an underground stormwater detention system. The project also included a new trash enclosure and a fresh coat of exterior paint to unify the old and new elements of the facility.

This project reflects our commitment to delivering highly functional and visually compelling spaces that align with our clients’ missions—whether that’s climbing higher, moving better, or building community.
