The Nyberg Rivers project was a redevelopment initiative for a multi-tenant shopping center spanning 38 acres, situated off the Nyberg exit of I-5 in Tualatin. The project entailed the construction of a multi-tenant building and a distinctive standalone restaurant. These structures serve as focal points of the revitalized shopping center, contributing to its modern aesthetic and enhanced amenities.
In addition to on-site construction, extensive off-site work was undertaken to improve infrastructure and accessibility. This included widening Nyberg Street, installing two new 4-way traffic signal intersections, and creating two new City of Tualatin streets—Barngrover Street and Seneca Street. These enhancements were integral to seamlessly integrating the shopping center into the surrounding urban landscape. Today, Nyberg Rivers stands as a testament to successful urban redevelopment, offering a dynamic mix of retail, dining, and community spaces.
